This series represents a long term engagement with freshwater environments across changing seasons and atmospheric conditions, built around the conviction that water in monochrome offers one of the richest and most formally varied subjects available to the landscape photographer. From the near perfect reflective symmetry of a still lake at dusk to the textured turbulence of a storm-lit shoreline, each image is the result of being in the right place at an unrepeatable moment, the kind of patient, committed field practice that produces work of lasting value.
