Interference

Interference traces the brief encounters between ripples as rain falls across water. Expanding waves overlap, strengthening or softening the surface motion while reflected light reveals their shifting geometry. Rendered in black and white, these photographs hold intricate arrangements of rings, fractured reflections, and flowing contours that dissolve almost as soon as they appear.
